I work with two theatre directors who stage two different performances on the same stage, at the same time. The directors have complete freedom in choosing the play they will stage, while each of them and the actors themselves are unaware of what the other group is playing, until they get on stage. They are each constrained to carry on with their play until the end, although they might meet some difficult challenges on the way. Through this forced overlap, I am interested in generating a new text, but also create moments of chaos or harmony that dissolve the limits, the boundaries of the acclaimed works.
